GREENSBORO, NC | 2012 GMC TerrainMarch 11, 2026Absolutely horrific experience. I came in for a Safety Recall on a Windsheld Wiper Transmission. I was told there's no recall. I asked the associate to partner with someone to find it. He got the Service Manager, who just repeated what the associate said. He didnt care to research my issue at all. I asked how much it costs if I paid. The associate told me around $328. I left and contacted GM directly, who sent me a link to input my Vin number. Right on the GM website, it shows my specific Vin number is eligible for Wiper Transmission Special Service. How did the employees not see this? I returned and Michelle assisted me. She was very pleasant. I left my vehicle for the wiper service, and returned that afternoon. When I cranked my vehicle, my Check Engine light was on! How did this happen after 8 hours in GM's care??? This vehicle only has 41K miles and the Check Engine Light has never been on. I took it back in and the Service Manager was disinterested and had no intention on making it right at all! The next morning Michelle called and informed me it will be $340 to fix my Check Engine light that was absolutely never there before GM worked on it. She also informed me that since my car has a Rebuilt Title, the Special Coverage shouldn't have applied, and the Warranty Manager was upset. This let me know why my Check Engine light came on. This Service Center found a way to ensure they don't lose out on the $328 Wiper repair. It's not my responsibility to know that Rebuilt Vehicles are excluded from Special Coverages. If this Service Center and Service Manager would've actually took a second to look into my issue, I wouldn't feel like I was scammed and received a horrific first experience at this Service Center. I am still experiencing engine issues from my vehicle being in GM's care for 8 hours.Robert C

If I would have known that, I would have made a appointment another day. A complete waste of my time.Adam S
GREENSBORO, NC | 2010 GMC TerrainMarch 11, 2026Terrible service, poor communication, outlandish pricing, no diagnosis given. I expect to at least be greeted. Shuttle vehicle wasn't ready even though I set the appointment specifically for shuttle service. I had to call to find out the status of my vehicle 6 hours after dropping it off for my appointment. They wanted to charge me $480 for a key. $290 for the key fob and $190 to cut and program. I got this done at Battery+ for $80 witch included an OEM key fob. After all of this I got a "maybe this is what's wrong" and a "he thinks" you should just start by replacing this. I understand car repair and diagnostics can sometimes take some guess work, but the advisor couldn't tell me any reason to replace these parts, other than "the technician thinks it might be leaking" and the video he sent was a joke. "you cant tell in this light but in the green light it looks like it might be leaking so I'm gonna recommend replacing it..." why even bother sending the video? I got the problem fixed by the way, at a firestone, and it wasn't either of the things your technician recommended that I replace. At the end of the day I got an oil change done...for $318.James R
